Alison McMahan  author, documentary filmmaker. She was the president of Homunculus Productions, LLC, a company that produced training films, industrials and documentaries until the company closed in 2025.  She is the author of the award-winning book ALICE GUY BLACHÉ, LOST CINEMATIC VISIONARY (Continuum 2002) and THE FILMS OF TIM BURTON: ANIMATING LIVE ACTION IN HOLLYWOOD (Continuum 2005).
